Before Applying for your 1st Job – You Must Have:

Social Insurance Number (SIN) (Link)

A Phone Number (Preferably – Your Cell Number)

Suggestion for your application:

Use your school account’s email address (stu#@learn.vsb.bc.ca)

For your address use a short form
(ie: Vancouver B.C. V5N 4Z2) – To protect your family’s privacy. Only give out your full address once you are hired by the company.

Make Sure your future employer knows:

You Speak more than one language (ie: Chinese, Vietnamese, Pilipino, etc.)
You have COVID Safety Training from Applied Skills Classes.
You are FULLY Vaccinated (make sure you are).
